Sounds similar to my earliest short story "The Year Without Christmas." I wrote it at about the age of 8 years old for the grade school newspaper. The teachers loved it but the principal nixed it because of the violence. It's about a CEO who loses money on his Toy corporation every year because Santa is delivering all the presents for free. So he hires a hit man to take him out. I still have it somewhere.
