New Course: Understanding Dostoevsky
March 8 - April 26
Our next course at The John David Ebert School will be an immersion into the intensely metaphysical world of four of Fyodor Dostoevky’s novels: Notes from Underground, Crime and Punishment, Demons and The Brothers Karamazov. For the first class, we will discuss Notes from Underground. And then we will spend two classes each on Crime and Punishment and Demons. Then, for the last three classes we will read through The Brothers Karamazov. This promises to be one of our best courses yet!
Class begins on Saturday, March 8, at 12 noon MST and continues for every Saturday until April 26 (we may perhaps skip Easter Sunday on April 20, depending on what the students want to do. If so, the course will end on May 3).
